can all HDCAM machines used for projection play 25p?
This is not a HDV question, but a HDCAM question so my apologies for posting here.
I have a 25p project which will be output in a number of formats for digital projection - one of which is HDCAM. My question is - am I safe creating 25p HDCAM copies? Will they play in all HDCAM machines used for digital projection or is there a chance that such a machine will only accept HDCAM 24 and other frame rates but not 25?? Thanks

good question. I'd like to know also.
and this is related to hdv because those that shoot in CF25 on the Z1U/FX1E and wish to make a HDCAM master of their project (for submissions to sundance, cannes, etc...) need to know this. - shannon w. rawls |

Got my answer today in the post house we are using - the guy said that any HDCAM decks will play HDCAM 25p no problem, which is what I presumed.. just didn't want to get caught out at a festival and have to go away and create another 24p version!
