HDV distrubution formats.
Hey guys. My instructor here at college is wanting to buy a the Sony HDV camera TODAY. However, he's reluctant because he read that you cannot put HDV on DVHS. Surely this is a mistake? I thought people here had done it.
Also, is Sony's HDV deck avalible yet? If not, when will it be? |

Thanks, but I'm on a PC.
And I really don't know what that plug-in does, so it doesn't answer my question. |

It sure is! Have a search as there are threads on the topic somewhere here - sorry I don't have time to locate them myself. But for example, little shareware app WrtDVHS.exe will send a transport stream file to a DVHS deck via firewire: http://www.yamabe.org/softbody.html |

Will my JVC DVHS (the 30000 model) allow FX1 footage to be transferred over?
