Windows Media 9 Series Encoding Support for Macintosh

http://e-pressroom.com/cgi-bin/ibc_e...10&doctype=txt

This is really good news for all Mac owners who considered buying a PC just to encode WM9.

Apparently, it'll cost under $100.

Also, native IMX editing in FCP. Very nice!

That's excellent news! I was wondering when the WMP stuff would port over, so now we know.

It looks like 2005 is truly the breakout year for HDV.

Heck, 2005 will be BIG for HD-DVDs, the rumored new CineAlta (shot Star Wars Ep. 3) and more. It will just be BIG for HD!

This is a very cool plugin. Any word on FCP HDV support - when and where?

WMV9 is the codec...... WMP10 (not WMV10) is the latest player.

You're right. But it's an indication of things to come pretty soon.
