Windows Media 9 Series Encoding Support for Macintosh

This is really good news for all Mac owners who considered buying a PC just to encode WM9. Apparently, it'll cost under $100. Also, native IMX editing in FCP. Very nice! Frederic |

That's excellent news! I was wondering when the WMP stuff would port over, so now we know.
It looks like 2005 is truly the breakout year for HDV. Murph

Heck, 2005 will be BIG for HD-DVDs, the rumored new CineAlta (shot Star Wars Ep. 3) and more. It will just be BIG for HD!

WMV9 is the codec...... WMP10 (not WMV10) is the latest player. |
