Anyone tried one? Wanted to get opinions before plunking down real money on it. |

Jeremiah,
The CU-VH1 the "Clam Shell" as we call it, works great! Essentially, it's a camera without the lense. It is fully compatible with any HDV firewire capture tool (Mac or PC). It also works on batteries, which is fantastic for the road. A portable HDV deck for $2K! We used it at NAB for our demos and it worked perfectly. |

Well, Jeremiah, as our HD business grows, we'll BOTH get one. It's much easier than sending either hard drives, down-converts or the whole camera for you to edit.
I may grab one before the summer's over. But first, BUSINESS! heath
