For Frederic Haubrich and David Newman

Whew! NAB can be an exhausting experience. Frederic and David, I can't believe my poor luck. I tried on a couple of separate occasions to meet both of you and failed miserably! On my lunch break, I dashed over to JVC in the central hall to find Frederic... only to discover you were at lunch, like I was, and off visiting the south hall! Also I had swung by the Microsoft pavillion to meet David... gone away on break, just like me! Talk about a lack of synchronicity. At least I managed to spend some quality time once again with Mary Reeves of Cineform. She's always great to talk to! And I met most of the Lumiere HD team as well. Hopefully I can hook up with both of you at some future event down the road! Have a restful weekend,

Hi Chris,

Mary said you had come by and I very sorry to have missed you. I was working that booth about 7-8 hours a day (and I have a wrecked voice to prove it.) What are the chances? :)

Did you get to play with Prospect HD?

David.

Thanks, David -- I didn't get to touch a thing, at any booth anywhere. Too busy running around meeting people! I had only very limited time to walk around and it was a bit frustrating not being able to play with all the new toys.

;-)

Just rub it in on the guy who didn't make it to NAB! ;-)

Glad it was fun this year! I hate to say it, but Chris was right about the cameras (or lack thereof) this year. Good thing the NLEs are so killer!
