"At the product level, this new technology translates into three separate new options the company will introduce at NAB. A software upgrade to all Liquid products will be offered at a price that Pinnacle won’t pin down exactly but says is similar to the price of Liquid Edition today, at $999 for the software with a special ATI graphics card included. That will allow users HDV-level support. The advantage of this package is user’s ability to input and output footage through conventional 1394 connections and natively edit three streams of HDV footage in real time."

Great -- thanks for that link, Bob! It'll be pretty interesting when Pnnacle and Canopus start shipping their HDV editing solutions.
