Is there a sample anywhere?
Has someone edited any HD footage successfully and posted it online?
I know HDV is the future of prosumer digital video but I have yet to see a single edited piece posted anywhere......has someone a link to anything? |

You don't see much edited material on-line because HD is big. So anything too long becomes a problem for hosting. Most ISPs charge for bandwidth on downloads, so it can get expensive very quickly. Even CineForm doesn't regularly host demo video. But here is a short section of our old demo reel (38 seconds) that was edited on Aspect HD.
http://www.cineform.com/video/ShortDemoReel.wmv (Right click and select download.) This is a Window Media 9 file at 6Mb/s and it is still 30MBytes (it would have been 100MB as a transport stream.) |
