Depends how you want to edit Steve. If you've got a G5 and want to edit in Pixlet, and use that as your final format, convert to that using MM2C shareware and edit away.
If you want to eventually go back to MPEG2 TS and do a proxy edit, ..and have tons of hard drive space, ....and have a PC handy and connected with the Mac on a network, you could decompress all your footage using MM2C, make another copy of the footage in whatever format you choose to edit in (in MM2C, that could be anamorphic DV or Pixlet or OfflineRT), edit in that, then make your timeline in FCP Offline, then recconect the timeline pointing to the uncompressed footage on the hard drive, and render. But to get back to MPEG2 TS from this uncompressed master, the only options seem to lie on the PC at this point, or Steve Mullen's HDVCinema package of course, which actually also requires a PC, That's it in a nutshell. It isn't a simple process like editing DV, but it can be done.
