FCP update 4.0.2 - run update
If you run update you'll get this FCP users. Does "rendering non-DV clips in DV sequences" mean MPEG2-TS?? I'm not able to try it right now, but could someone try it out please! Thanks!
This is the message when updating from "Software Update": "The QuickTime Render Plug-in addresses a compatibility issue between Final Cut Pro 4 and QuickTime 6.4 that occurs when rendering non-DV clips in DV sequences. It is strongly recommended for all Final Cut Pro 4 users." Chris |

By the way - it's something different than your exisiting 4.0.2 update. Why they didn't call it 4.0.3 - I don't know.

The answer is no. With FCP 4.0.2 with the latest QT updates, you can't import m2t nor m2v (originating from HD10U m2t footage) files.
