It doesn't show up for me. What OS are you running? Are you confusing it with the new QT version, 6.4?

That'll teach me not to read the "Read Me's" Thanks for the clarification. QuickTime 6.4 is available and requires Mac OS 10.2.5 or higher. Just a reminder, Panther, OS 10.3 will be available in less than a week. I have ordered my copy, which should arrive next Friday. I'll post my observations and comments in our Mac Editing Forum.

Pixlet is only for Panther
Sorry to lower the enthusiasm here but on Apple's site it is clearly stated that Pixlet (though it is indeed a QT 6.4 element) is only for OS X 10.3, thus Panther, it will not be installed on 10.2.8. Guess we'll have to wait a little here...
