Advice needed on configuring laptop editing system
I'm planning on buying an EX-3 and an edit setup. My edit needs are fairly simple. My background is from shooting, not editing.
I want to maximize the system for the EX-3. I will do little to no other editing in the forseeable future. I need portability and small footprint for the system. I will be editing a lot of 1 minute videos. I know to get a notebook with the express card slot as well as many other I/O slots/ports as possible! I don't want/need the whole CS4 bundle. I need a good, easy to learn editor, a blu-ray DVD authoring tool/burner, and good archiving capability. I prefer to stay with PC. So I'm considering Edius & Vegas. Possibly a Lenova notebook. Beyond that I'm pretty green. Help! Thanks |

I'm using the Dell 1530, loaded it up with a blu ray writer and it works well enough....
