What should I do after capturing by Intensity Pro?

I capture HD contents from Intensity Pro via the component input. I tried both MJPEG and non-compressed methods.

Playing back by Media Express is fine. And then I import them to Vegas and edit without difficulty.

My problem was no matter how I manipulated the Mainconcept encoder to output m2t file, the video quality is no good.

Then, I tried Canopus but got similar result.

Could you share with me how you encode your captured footage via Intensity to mpeg2 or m2t with HD quality?

Regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

What do you want to do with the edited footage - go back to HDV tape? Please share your desired output destination and format

Well, I want to encode it to m2t file (no matter it is 1440x1080 or 1920x1080) so that I put it in HDD media player which could be directly plug in LCD TV. This HDD media player can play back HD contents via HDMI or component output to TV.

I have been doing this for years when I shot with Sony Z1 and edited the footage in Vegas. The footage is smooth and good.

Thanks.
