Editing Question - MPEG Edit Studio Pro LE
Starting my first editing project and have ran into my first difficulty. I have imported the footage from the camera onto the PC. Started a new project in MPG Edit Studio Pro LE, and attempted to import the video clips. The problem is that the HD (1280 x 720) clips import just fine, but the SD(720 x 480) clips complain about the video being in a different format. So, I’m guessing the solution is to downgrade the HD clips to SD quality, but I don’t know how to convert them? I was also thinking that another solution might be to create 2 projects: 1 for HD and 1 for SD, then output the HD project in SD mode, then combine the two projects somehow but I’m not sure if this is technically possible.
Note that this is primarily a hobby, and thus the budget is tight. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Sasha |

according to the jvc manuals (if i recall) you cant mix different formats (sd/hd/dv), and it makes sense, so yes, you will have to convert them or make seperate projects...
