Intensity Pro: No 480p in component?

I really didn't want to make another thread on the Intensity Pro but this is quite the missing feature...

HDMI in probably supports 480p in but component in the meantime doesn't... This could be one of those bad missing features since capturing the PlayStation Portable Slim's progressive game output would not be possible. Is this something Blackmagic is looking into and fixing in a firmware update or is this unfixable and originates in the hardware?
