HDV Export for Projection
Hi Everyone,
I have a project that I've edited in HDV in FCS2. It's 24p. I'm exporting it so that I can play that file from a MacBookPro to an HD projector, and I'm trying to get the highest-quality file possible, while keeping the file small enough for the laptop to play it without problems. The project is just under 2 minutes. Right now I'm exporting using QuickTime Conversion, and using HDV 1080p24 as my compression type. The file looks OK as far as quality. But is there a better way to do this, and get better quality? You can see the low-quality web version here: http://www.epicearthcare.org/Video.html Ignore some of the edit mistakes. It's an few versions old, and all the editing/audio issues have been fixed. Thanks! |

We had to do this a couple of months ago and used H264, played back on a macbook, with no problems. The original project was a mix of 1080p24, ProRes, and still images. We'll have to do it again this year, but this time we're going to just hook an Apple TV to the projector and run that way.
