IOHD v.5.1 Breaking Compressor's Inverse Telecine?
After much installing/reinstalling i've come to the conclusion that the AJA IO HD 5.1 drivers are breaking compressor's ability to detect cadence to remove pulldown. has anyone else had this issue?
Are any IOHD owners willing to do some tests? I've got some prores clips with pulldown intact posted to my server, and I would greatly appreciated it if anyone could download them and test out inverse telecine. (files average 130mb) all files will decode perfectly to 24p before installing the iohd drivers, and none will detect correctly after. http://file.meyersproduction.com/hv20/iohd/24p/ I also posted this up at apple, and have submitted bug reports to aja and apple, if anyone else experiences these issues i highly encourage you to do the same. http://discussions.apple.com/thread....78020&tstart=0 much thanks. austin |

on further investigation i discovered that the "AJAVideoOutputCodec.component" when installed causes the issues. if you remove it, restart compressor and reset background processes, pulldown will be removed as it should.
