There is a Cineform section on these very forums. Have a look. Cineform over HDMI is what most people are striving for these days, although most people are trying to do this in a SFF or portable PC. I am very surprised that you know nothing of that company considering what you are trying to do.
There is also lots of info on Nvidia cards in that forum if I remember correctly.
