Need new HDV capable video card for about $100
I found out my old Nvidia GeForce 6200 With Turbocache croaked...the fan died on it. So I need to find a replacement card with dual monitor output capability as well as a card good for working with HDV (m2t) files for around $100. The computer ran fine before the fan died, but we still want something better than the old card since its from 2004 I believe. Thanks!

Check Newegg! I am sure you could find something. For 100 though I am not sure how good of a card your going to get...

Just about any GFX card will do the trick. For example I use an old, old Radeon 8500LE 128MB DirectX8 card from way back in 2002 for my HDV work and never had a problem since day one. I would recommend sticking with ATi or Nvidia to prevent any driver issues and make sure it has a 128bit memory bus at least (no 64bit bus!), and no shared memory.
An ATi HD2600pro or Nvidia 8600GT are more then adequate at are @ about $100.

7600 GT.. works great even on a 30" Apple Cinema Display. Easily less than 100 bucks. And guess what, NO FAN! Passive cooling! NewEgg it!
