color correction HDV
I heard some rumors about problems with color correction in hdv.
I sthere anybody out there with knowledge on this topic? i only want to ad some more contrast. Is it safe to do this in FCP s nw color correction program? Advice highly appreciated. thnx jane |

Contrast is easy to play with since it is contained in the luma. If you want to adjust individual colors then things can get ugly. Try the Curves tool. Good luck and have fun!

thnx for your input.
My workflow is 1. rendering a hdv quicktime from a hdv timeline. 2. color correction of this quicktime in apples Colour program. my question is; should i do my contrast correction in the rendered file? Is it also possible to import a complete FCP timeline into Colour? 3. from the rendered hdv master i go to a digibetamaster for broadcast. any thoughts on this? |
