just an idea
The forum is getting so big, i was thinking it might be helpful to have subforums in Helping Hands for regions to make it even more helpful and clean.
Something like: Western USA Central USA Eastern USA Western CA Eastern CA Mexico UK I'm not sure of the rest, but I'm sure you get the idea. |

Actually that's a very good idea. Plus sections for Europe, Australia, and America Junior (oops, I mean Canada, sorry). Also it would be much appreciated if everybody updated the location field in their user profile. Pretty soon it's going to be mandatory... if not your city then at least your state (or time zone even). Thanks in advance,

See the following: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=106852
Seems like this same approach could be adopted here. Quote:

Location specifics of some sort = very helpful.
Not to pick on anyone, but as an example, a recent title includes "Bay Area".
Many other regions have "bay areas", and not all are coastal states; some are near/contain lakes. Which "bay" being referred to is, by impulse, relative to the reader's point of reference, e.g Chesapeake for some, Fundy for others, Oyster for yet others, etc. The term is not limited to one geographic area, so just a little more specificity would be nice, e.g. "San Fran Bay Area", or even "SF Bay Area", or simply "San Fran area". Anything to encourage posters to include better location info/descriptions would be an improvement. $ .02 to the kitty.
