Shooting a music video in Port Chester NY (southern westchester county) on Jan 5th. Looking for a Jib w/ operator. Remote tilt/pan would be a plus. Shooting on w/ DSLR. Please let me know what you have and rates.

Atlanta Freelance Videographer
The LAW.TV is looking for a freelance videographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in TV production or news. We shoot interviews with local attorneys in a studio environment at a local TV studio. Shoots will take place in a 4 hour window per law firm. Depending on the shoot there could be 1 or 2 firms per day. We ship our gear ahead of time to the shoot location. You will be required to set up the camera equipment, lights, mic and backdrop. We also provide a laptop with the questions to be asked. We also provide a "livestream" box to monitor and help you with the shoot. Please include a link to your website and demo reel. We are looking to schedule this shoot in January 2013.

Can anyone in Vegas help me capture a PAL MiniDV tape?
I have a PAL miniDV tape with probably 50 minutes of footage that I need to capture. Alas I do not have a PAL miniDV camera nor a Sony DSR-11 to capture with!
It's footage from Kenya about a soccer tournament promoting peace. Is anyone in the Las Vegas area that can assist? Thanks. Donald Giesen |

It doesn't have to be necessarily a PAL camcorder; several pro/semi pro cameras can record and play both 50i and 60i footage - Sony Z1 and JVC HD100 come to mind.

I was thinking that too, I think if you get a camera of the same brand (and maybe even a different one?), it might play back a PAL tape, worth a shot anyway!
