Las Vegas 11/5/10 - Need (3) experienced HVX/HPX shooters
I'm looking for (3) experienced HVX/HPX shooters (and gear) to shoot with me on a 4 camera live music club shoot in Las Vegas Friday 11/5/10. Prefer shooters with live music experience, camera gear and P2 media (ideally enough to shoot 90-120 show straight through).
Will also need capable media assistant familiar with P2 data management to handle some general assistance and offload of media cards. Probably a half day or less of actual work from call time to exit, but do not know exact schedule details yet. Need full day rate (including gear), plus examples of shoot work. Will have a pre-production meet at venue 11/4 in afternoon for an hour or so during band rehearsal. |

Still looking for help reading a Canon 30F tape
I wanted to bump this post and also add that I'm willing to drive several hours to meet up, like Columbia or Greensboro. I can also bring a computer with me to transfer the tape so we could meet up anywhere that is convenient. In the end, what I really need to find is someone with a camera that is willing to help out. I'll will pay $75 if their camera can read my tape. I only have one tape to capture, so I shouldn't need more than an hour or so of your time. Thanks

Initial results look like a COMPLETE success!
Time on a conditioning charger seems to have restored full and normal operation.

If it would have been one weekend earlier I could have helped out on my way to see family in Louisiana but I can't do two weekends in a row. Have fun and I hope you find someone.

I would have loved to do that shoot as I might have gotten to see Dunleith (a rather famous mansion in Natchez) which was once owned by my great great great (not sure how many) grandfather, Charles Dahlgren. My parents even have a huge painting of the house in their living room.
I have a few friends from Houma too as I went to NSU in Natchitoches!

Robert - small world. The wedding is at Dunleith so you would have gotten a really good look at the place. Always wondered about this Charles Dahlgren who's name adorns the bridal suite.
