Canon dealers in Las Vegas NV?

Hi

I'll be at NAB 2007, and want to take a Canon Ixus TX home with me to Europe. Of reasons unknown to anybody but Canon upper management, the Ixus TX1 will not be sold in Europe. And BH will not deliver to hotels. This means that I have to find a reputable dealer in Las Vegas.

Anybody knows a good Canon dealer i Las Vegas (AKA Disneyland without pants)?

I believe the largest canon distributer/retailer in las vegas is Ritz Camera's. The one at the Bell's outlet on Las Vegas Blvd and Warmsprings, just 5mins south on the strip will have the most camera's of any Ritz Camera's (although they dont have a very large amount).

There are only two places to get a high-end cameras in vegas (that i know of). One is the Ritz stores (pretty much in or near every mall) - but they do not stock a ton of things (they never seem to have what i am looking for). There is also a camera store on the strip, near the M&M Store/Coke Store. I can't remember what its called, but they have a LOT of stuff. It's the only place in town that even stocks the XL2. Most likely you'll find what you need there, the prices are on par with B&H.

Canon announced last night that the TX1 will not be available until late April.

Thanks for our help. Much appreciated!

Lisa - it is the show case Mall right?

But it seems that the higher powers and Canon do not want me to get this camera. Maybe it is a Sanyo I have to look for after all

The footage I have seen so far from the Canon TX1 is not as good as what I have been getting from the much-maligned Sanyo HD1 (all as seen on a 60 inch Sony HDTV). The HD2 should be even better.
