MPT1100-SS Pan & Tilt System #MPT1100-SS : only $649.99 (includes Pan & Tilt Head, Joystick Control (Proportional), 25’ CAT6 Cable & a 12V Power Supply) Features: - The pan and tilt head is the ideal size for DSLR and smaller bodied cameras. - The super light 6061 T6 aluminum structure weighs only 2.9lbs, yet is able to handle up to a 6lb payload! - Dual ball bearings on each axis support the 1” hollow aluminum shafting allowing you to route camera wires through the pan and tilt head. - The head easily attaches to a jib crane in the upright or hanging position without any tools (Jib Mounting Kit sold separately). - The MPT1100-SS is precisely controlled by a new digital joystick controller. The two channel controller is fully proportional and the maximum speed of each axis can be limited by the min/max knobs for the ultra-slow shots. - Setup is quick and easy as the controller links to the pan and tilt head with a single CAT6 cable and is powered by a 12V power supply. - The system ships as a ready-to-run unit that includes a pan & tilt head, joystick control, 25 foot CAT6 cable, and 12V power supply. Here is a video of the system in action: ServoCity MPT1100-SS Open Loop Pan & Tilt System - YouTube For questions, please e-mail tech@servocity.com Thanks! |

Re: ServoCity MPT1100-SS : DSLR Pan & Tilt
I've tried out this head, and really like it so far. One thing though, I would love to make the pans and tilts go much faster....either by changing gears, or maybe the motors?

Re: ServoCity MPT1100-SS : DSLR Pan & Tilt
You can definitely change out the motors to make it faster or slower. The stock system comes with 20 RPM Precision Gearmotors and a 5:1 gear ratio, but we have a wide range of RPMs to choose from if you want to replace them. Precision Robotzone Gear Motors
Our techs would be happy to talk with you about this if you have questions (tech@servocity.com) Thanks! |
