Marshall M-CT7 Monitor on HMC-150 & HVX-200
I'm making out my Christmas wish list, and this monitor might top it. However, I only find it as a kit with either Canon or Nikon battery mounts.
I see that the Panasonic battery mount for CGA-style batteries is available as an accessory, (and I have 4 of those for my HVX), but I don't want to order - and pay for - a battery mount that I have no use for. (I most often use an Anton Bauer Elipz battery with the cameras, and I have the AB adapter for each, but I can't find a plate/adapter to use the Elipz to split/share with the monitor). I normally order equipment from one of the most popular DVInfo sponsors in NYC, but I'm not sure which one to order so I don't end up with a battery mount that I can't use, and they don't seem to offer the monitor/mount combination I want as a "kit". Any advice?

Denis,
The Panasonic battery mount for CGA-style batteries is one of the best choices to power this monitor. Depending on the condition of your batteries you should get 90+ minutes of operation time. Bernie Keach Marshall Electronics |
