Name the "Krank" Challenge
Many of you have already seen the demo for our new Kessler “Krank” slider / mini-dolly prototype on our YouTube page or in our thread in the forums here. If you have not seen it, you can check it out here: YouTube - Kessler Krank? (prototype)
While the name “Krank” does fit the product, it doesn’t immediately tell you “what” the product is or does. Because of this, we thought it might be fun to have a little challenge, and let you tell us what a better name for the “Krank” would be. So here’s the deal. The person that comes up with the product name that we feel best describes the Kessler “Krank” will receive one of the first production models FREE. To view the “fine print” and submit your official entry, visit the Name the “Krank” Challenge page on our website: Kessler Crane® - Quality Professional Camera Cranes, Camera Jib & Camera Support Products - Name the "Krank" Challenge Submissions will be accepted through Friday, March 13th, 2009. We hope everyone has fun with this little challenge, and we look forward to seeing your submissions. |

Winner Announcement
First, thanks to everyone that submitted an entry for the Name the 'Krank' Challenge, the response was great.
The winning entry was: Kwik Dolly from Jason Adams. Jason's entry was the closest to what we were looking for. The name that we have actually decided to go with for this product is the Pocket Dolly™. For Jason's winning entry, he will receive a free Pocket Dolly™ from the first production run, which should be available by mid April. I hope you had as much fun with this, as we did. There were some really great submission ideas that we received. A few of the others that really stood out to us for various reasons were: Slide-o-Matic - Dial in for a smooth look. Krank-n-Slide Krankinator - Hasta la vista wobbly dolly shots! Again, I want to thank everyone for all the great submissions. Stay tuned for the release of the Pocket Dolly™, coming soon. |
