Just curious, what programs do you Edius editors use for:

- Audio editing / mixing (5.1 and stereo)
- DVD authoring (including encoding)

I guess I have pretty generic audio needs - filtering and light mixing / no 5.1. I was a Cool Edit user going back, so I have felt comfortable with Audition and used it for filtering (esp noise reduction) and track mixing with effects. A little while back, I was shown how the version of Soundsoap that comes with Edius 4 handled some noise reduction where Audition didn't do very well with. I hadn't touched it but it's worth a closer look for filtering.

Using an Intel Mac, I like DVD studio Pro for DVD and generally encode Edius projects with PCE.
