Exporting HDV back to tape on Canon XH A1?
I am actually a Premiere Pro 2 user, however I need to find out if anyone has successfully exported from their NLE back to the Canon XH A1 camcorder a 1080 HD project?
You need to export at least a 10 min clip as shorter length will not test whether the camcorder stops recording after 4.5 min to 6 min (in Prem Pro 2). Thanks, Bill in Ohio |

Only use a Sony HDV FX1 and A1 this end.

I was able to get Edius to export back to a Canon HV10 without any problems. Seems like the A1 should be the same.

Matthew:
Thanks for the input. Was the export longer than 10 minutes? I assume it was in 1080 60i? Thanks, Bill in Ohio |

HV10 works for longer than 6 minutes and I can confirm that Edius can export to the A1 in 1080i for more than 10 minutes without problems. I haven't tried 24p yet.
