Old install disk
So, in the 'seemed like I good idea at the time' department, I threw out all my installation disks. "I can download everything". Well, no, it seems with GV, you need to install from CD before you can update.
GV support was not that helpful--I'm using Edius 5 and it is no longer supported. An upgrade is not in the budget right now. So, does someone have a E5 install disk that they could send me? Would it work? Are they serial number keyed or anything? I do still have the dongle... Thanks for any help,

Re: Old install disk
Just checked my Edius 5 disc and it has a serial number on the DVD sleeve. The dongle that came with it still has its little ID tag still tied to it and it also has a number. I'm guessing that the two numbers disc and dongle have to work together. Do you still have a record of your serial number?

Re: Old install disk
Luckily, the GV website has that information.
