Doing a simple video cross fade in Edius Neo?
Just got Edius Neo 2 Booster and I will probably be totally crazy before I figure this software out.
I've spent the last hour-and-a-half trying to determine how to do a simple cross fade between video clips on the time line. I have the manual and I finally figured out how to add the fade in/out buttons to the timeline menu but can't figure out how to add the actual transitions. The manual is 600 pages and seems to jump around a lot. Could someone offer me a tip on how to get this accomplished. Thanks. |

There are some great tutorials for EDIUS here...
Digital Video Editing | Edius5 with SP Hardware | XDCAM HD | Blu-ray | Edius Tutorials They are generally for the full version but Neo is mostly identical. |

there are many ways
you can drag the dissolve from effects palette to the point where the 2 clips touch or you can park the curser where clips touch and press Alt+1 for 1 sec transition Alt+2 for 2 sec transition Alt+3 for 3 sec transition or yous the transition tool from the timeline toolbar |
