I'd be interested to know how Canopus has modified Edius 2.5 to handle HDV. Offline like Lumiere? Online like CineForm? or online like MainConcept?

I would be curious to know if it supports AC-3 ( I sure cant find anything), If not then whats the point when you can get Vegas for less than half the price.
I really like the download trial version with some of their cool filters and stuff but wheres the 5.1 to go with the HD. |

I called my local Canopus Rep, and until today most of them had not herd of the 720p edition of Edius. I was also told that if I purchased from him today, I would be one of first in USA to have the software.
Not sure Edius is up the challenge of HDV editing if it edits the MPEG's natively and does not convert to it's HD codec. |
