thinking of purchasing Edius Neo
Hi all,
I've been thinking of buying Edius Neo. My requirements are SD/HD mainly wedding videography and want to author to DVD/Blu-Ray. I'm currently using Liquid 7.2 but with the support quickly fading and lack of Blu-ray authouring I was looking at edius Neo maybe to start with. Would this do the job? Thanks in Advance Darren |

Go for Edius 5!
I would advise to go for Edius 5 instead, as Neo is a severely scaled-back version of this wonderful editing software. You have no scopes in Neo, no multicam, no audio mixer, and no support for some, more advanced acquisition formats.
Although there is no direct to BluRay export from the timeline in Pro, it comes with Corel DVD Movie Factory for BluRay authoring (when you buy it, not the trial). Both Neo and Pro (version 5.x) are available for 30 days free trial, give them a try and make and informed decision based on your own needs. |
