Edius macrogenerator
I came across this recently and think it could well be a very useful tool.
EdiusMacroGenerator.com | ChangeThe Your Mode of Using EDIUS I'm new to Edius but have used photoshop for years. This little app does for Edius what photoshop actions does for photoshop. The prorammer 'Wacky' seems very responsive to users requirements. Alan (London) |

I tried the demo of this but it wouldn't run properly. However after I reported it, Wacky immediately released an update that works fine. He even created 2 new macros for me, (i) change aspect ratio to 4:3, and (ii) change field order to progressive. These are 2 functions I need from time to time, and these alone make it worthwhile to me to pay for this program. I recommend you try out the demo if you use Edius 4 or 5, it might be useful for you too.

Just had a project where I had to change the frame rate of 50 clips from 30p to 25p. Using EMG, it took me 2 minutes to write and test the macro (actually I just copied and edited an existing macro) and then 1 minute to change all the clips. This is so easy!
