Removing PIP effect
I need to remove the Picture in Picture effect on some of my clips, but I'm not sure how. I'm using Edius 4. When I added the effect, I could see it in the information pallet (which I clicked on and could make the necessary adjustments). But now I want to remove the PIP effect so the video is full screen.
How can I get the effect information back up so I can get rid of the PIP? Thanks. Miles |

I don't have the computer fired up at the moment but I'm guessing you need to click in the correct area on the timeline clip. IIRC, there is a video section, a keying section, and an audio section. I believe for PIP you need the keying section.

Andy,
Thanks. I found it. I didn't realize that was a track for the effects. Thanks a bunch. Miles |

Hi Miles. If you click on the upper part of the clip on the timeline, you get to see what filters and effects are applied. Filters include stuff like White Balance and Motion Blur
If you click on the lower part, you see what Canopus call "keyers". These include PIP, chromakey etc. Richard |

After you select a particular segment on the timeline, the Information tab lets you uncheck or delete effects currently applied to that segment.
