Probs with 60fps footage in Edius 4.6.1
Folks-
I'm having some issues with some high speed footage in Edius. It refuses to play back and often crashes the machine. currently I am using an output preset that matches the footage shot: 720x1280 @60fps. The footage originated on a JVC HD250U and was digitized via Focus Enhancements hard drive. Using Edius NX, with the hardware card and the HD expansion kit. All footage is being captured/copied into a Raid 0. Thanks in advance for your help! -Keith |

Keith, what format is the footage? Is it CanopusHQ or something else?
If it's not, have you tried transcoding "on the spot" the source file once in Edius? I had some issues with 60 fps QT files from Digital Juice (insanely high bitrate) but once converted to CanHQ, plays like a charm. |

Keith,
Interested to know what issues you have in particular. I also use HD200 with FS and sometimes use 60P for slomo. I edit on Edius as well. Ted |
