Edius Broadcast and mpeg1
I am looking for a new video editing software program. Part of my future work will include legal video and my understanding is some legal software will import only mpeg1 format. Will Edius Broadcast save to the mpeg1 format on C/D?
Thanks in Advance ! RonE |

legal software? whats that?
mpeg1 is the codec for VCD format or Video CD. Edius can export to mpeg1 via procoder express module. just select the Video CD target for Video Type selection. |

Info on "Legal Software"
This would be software in the legal video field used in the court rooms to display deposistions, documents, exibits, etc. Examples would be "Trial Director" or "Depo View" just to name a few. They work best with mpeg1 files. I can save a few steps if my editing software will export mpeg1 files for import into my "Legal Software". Thanks

Vegas 8 Pro lists MainConcept MPEG-1 in its "Render as" menu.
