HD Codec problem. Please help
I've gotten myself into a bit of a pickle. I have avi files on my mac that use the CFHD codec (from cineform/adobe)
I need to use them with Final Cut Pro, but I just can't get the files to work with quicktime. Just audio and a white screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?? [dan] |

If I am not mistaken, this codec only works with Vegas or Premiere. Your best bet is to render an uncompressed quicktime out of premiere for use in Final Cut. That is assuming you have premiere.

I remember Canopus having a wierd file system too, but they did have a utility for machines without the Storm system to use the files. Maybe Cineform has a similar plug in?

CineForm porting to the Mac (and it works with most PC tools), yet Michael suggestion is the best action for now.
