Dual dual Xeon Motherboard?

I'm looking @ building a new system to accomodate my new HDV Equipment. I'm becoming a heavy AE user and have been advised to go with dual dual core Xeon's with 1066 Mhz Bus.

I'm having trouble finding a MB to accomodate this setup. Does anyone know of a MB with this configuration?

Oh, and I also want to run SAS as opposed to Ultra 320.

Just an aside, I spoke with Supermicro this AM and they have nothing firm yet, but said to call back in two weeks, but I'd like to complete my budget for this thing now.

Thanks,

JayH

I'm running SAS 300GB 10K drives over 4Gb/sec fiber channel (FC) see the InforTrend 12-Bay 4Gb/sec FC SAN array link below:

If you get this baby with 146GB 15K SAS drives you can sustain 520MB/sec that should take care of your HD capture needs ;-}

You'll need a FC tape library to be able to back up all your uncompressed video from the SAN once your done with it.

I'm investigating 10GbE ISCSI arrays because they'll be a lot cheaper and easier to implement for the mortal video man ;-}

Does AE support more than 2 cores? I would question why you were recommended Xeons when Opterons hold such a price/performance advantage. Especially when it comes to HD.
