CCD pixel count (H1,HVX200,HD100,Z1)
Okay, so I'm going thru the specs of the new HD cameras on the market and I come accross this:
The site below states that the HVX200 only has 235K pixels on its sensors?? Could this be true? Must be a mistake. The Z1 comes has 1080K, the HD100 1110K and the H1 1670K. The HD10 is listed has 1180K. Even the GL2 has 410K pixels, so 235K seems awfully low.

Sorry, non-sponsor dealer links removed... out of fairness to the dealers who go out of their way to support this site, they have "exclusivity" on DV Info Net.
Dave, I'm pretty sure that 235kp specification refers to the flip-out LCD display. At least I hope it does! |

Panasonic has not divulged the count of pixels on the sensor. The viewfinder has around 235,000 pixels so that must be what they were referencing.
