I don't think it's high def, just regular MPEG2 DVD type. If it is actually high def, then it is Blu-Ray.

It's standard-def. PC World just labeled it wrong.

Besides if it was Hi-Def it would be HDR not DCR in the model number.
Shame though. I was hoping for lots of new Hi-Def Camcorders at the CES (to get HD in the mainstream asap). Sadly there was only one - the Sanyo... |
