Total HD Equipment Acquisition at DVinfo.net

My non-profit organization just green lighted the acquisition of an HD broadcast suite. They are converting from their analog system and have a budget of $500,000. They broadcast regionally on a few stations and also need an ENG solution for field and training applications. I would like to solicit suggestions for this conversion from cameras to support equipment(Is it possible to intergrate analog audio? They are satisfied with that component and want to utilize their exsisting audio equipment if possible.) and any also suggestions that might keep us from landing into any known pitfalls that could happen with this format. Of course they want the best for that budget and if possible equipment that is upgradible without needing to be totally replaced within 5 years.
