Best software for authoring Blu Ray?
Hey all, First, I am way too stubborn to stop using my Corel VideoStusio Pro for editing. I can burn successfully to DVD every project, but often get errors when burning to my Asus External Blu Ray burner. After making 3 blu ray coasters this morning, I rendered my 60 minute project to a full 1920 X 1080 file, then setup to burn using Roxio. 4 hours later, I am at 60%. This is with a new and capable I7 machine. 2 questions come of this today:
1) Is there a "great" authoring program I could/should be using? Perhaps I edit with my Corel, render to file, then author in a program that is capable of both DVD and blu ray? 2) If above is a Yes, if I render a 60 minute full HD project and end up with, say a 12 gb file, will said authoring program render it to 720 to fit a 4.7 DVD? Or do I need to render 2 files, a 720 and a 1080? Thanks all. |

Re: Best software for authoring Blu Ray?
Adobe Encore CS6 is what I use or everything, although I use Media Encoder to do all of the actual encoding work..
