Newbie HD question, which format for beginner
Hello all, I know this wont be a simple question, but I currently shoot wedding videos as SD. I am awaiting the arrival of a Sony Z5 HD camera and wondered if there is a good "beginner" format to shoot in. I am still learning all my 1080I, 1080P, and all that, so I am wondering if I go ahead and shoot my first wedding, what format is a good choice for my first shoot. Most of my current wedding couple never ask or request special formats, so is there a good "general" format that would work out for me?
Thanks all. |

I'd start playing with the cam in 60i and experiment a bit before your first shoot. This is, of course, after you have spent the afternoon with the cam, the manual and a cup or six of coffee, playing with every setting and learning what they all do. Well, you won't get to all of them in an afternoon -- you can leave BLACK STRETCH and KNEE POINT for later -- but it will give you idea of what this amazing piece of equipment will do if you let it.
