Chroma key Help in chose a Camera
Hi, I read that using an HV20 with an HDMI Capture Card is a Cheap alternative to do Chroma key because you can record 4:2:2, I don't have a lot of money to Spend in this ( about £400 600USD)
I think I will start for WEB so HD is not really need it at the moment but maybe is better to be safe for Future Projects, What other cheap alternatives I have? BTW My mate have a Canon XL1S which I can have anytime I want but not sure if I can do any decent Chroma key with it. Thanks |

If you are going to do chroma for the web, you can shoot DV, turn the camera sidways and get 720 lines of res, rotate in post, do the rest and you have web hd out of a cheap dv cam corder.
just a thought dale
