When I try to play the German clips I keep getting this:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer.

Anybody know what I'm missing?

Yes you are missing an Mpeg4 decoding filter.
Try downloading Divx, or Xvid or FFdshow Directshow filter.

To keep everyone informed: the thread about the new camera
was originally in a much larger thread. The two have been split:

New thread on the "Drake" camera:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=34339

Old thread on HD camera development:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=25808

Thank you for your consideration.

When can we see just a short clip? That looked really great. This has been asked a thousand times before but any clues when your beta testing will be done and when will the camera be ready?

Of course if you could do even a small film out. Convince a lab to do it and then some how post it back on the net. That would convince a lot of people and we could see for ourselves how things work.

Yes all the above will be done as soon as I can get on it.

I would guess that I am about 4-6 weeks out from a working "system" if I get a 64bit Epix frame grabber it would be sooner

Are we looking at maybe a couple of months and possibly $10,000? Or are we talking $30,000 to $60,000?

What about the Drake camera? They sound close to being finished, yes?

Donald, or anyone else maybe I'm blind or something. But when I ask for the mac os 10 download it opens another page.

It has some things about mirror's france, etc.

I'm I suppose to choose one of those or I'm missing or not seeing something.

Thanks Gary
