Choices for HD display
Was looking for some recommendations for a plasma or LCD panel to view content with a Sony HD-FX1. Budget is around $3000.
Is there anything else than "1080i compatible" I need to look for to ensure it will work fine with the Sony? Also, I've noticed some displays have open "slots" for optional input cards. It would be bery cool if they offered a Firewire HDV capable input option. thanks Kaspar |

Personally I'd go with the JVC DT-V1910CG. It is a hi-res CRT which has about nine config carts that go in the back.
The best part is that it does all the standards. I'm looking at one to buy as a relatively future proof moniter for a hi-end HD / SD NLE workstation. http://www.planetdv.net/Content/High_Definition_Equipment/HD-Video_Monitors.asp Best Jonathan |
