HD trailer for "Ray" online
Hey all you HDV'ers,
We've been talking a lot on here about HD with Windows Media. I'm downloading right now the HD trailer for the new film "Ray". Usually, I don't watch trailers on purpose, but I do plan to seeing the film and I hope the trailer doesn't ruin it. I'm in the habit of NOT watching trailers - or least more than a few seconds of them! Watching trailers almost always ruins the plan of going and/or the experience!! http://www.raymovie.com/ Go to the trailers section, and click on the HD version - it's 150 megs!! The text on there says it's like 70 megs, but I'm downloading 150 megs right now. We're finally going to start seeing HD online....I can feel it. Murph UPDATE: Watched the trailer on my PC 'cause M$ hasn't made it available on Mac's yet. It looks damn good.

Yeah, I know...but this is actually on the site promoting the film "Ray". Those other videos have been sitting there for about a year collecting virtual dust. I guess that I meant to say that it looks like we'll start seeing these HD trailers posted for actually promoting movies.

Chris,
Did you happen to save it? If you have an IM program (AOL, MSN, etc) we can do a direct transfer between PCs. If you don't mind.. ? Also Atom Films.com has some excellent, excellent WMVHD short movies. You have to sign up and install their download agent, but the movies are some of the greatest shorts I've ever seen. I think most of them were shot on film and converted to WMVHD, but I'm not 100% on that. Troy |
