Sony Viewfinders
Seems like very few people have tried the EVF200 viewfinder that's meant for the PDW700. I now have and looked at it side-by-side with a more typical (and £1000 more expensive) EVF20, and I can say that there's to my mind not much to choose between them. I was quite prepared to spend the extra £1000 if the 200 was no good, but it's not the case. In fact the EVF200 has a cool little thing that I've never seen before, a little light underneath that illuminates your lens aperture/zoom/focus rings! Maybe of limited use, but so cool!
The 200 has a sort of glossy rather than dimpled finish to it, so maybe looks a touch cheaper, but anyone looking closely to see how well finished your viewfinder is needs to get out more! Steve |

Sony's DXF-801 viewfinder that is used on the DSR-250, DSR-450WS and DSR-500WS also has this feature.
