HVR-M35 - Canon 24f True or False
I've read a post on the forum that dates back a few months on this topic but has anyone successfully (or unsuccessfully) tested this Sony VTR with Canon H1 24f footage? I have a Blackmagic Multibridge with HD-SDI that I could capture with and would love to start using it to masters.

True! Because of the way the z7 and s270 implement 24p it's cross compatible with the canon 24f, and because the m35 can read those, it can also read canon f modes. So you're golden, I've been told that myself by sony canada and tried it on a z7.

Timecode
This is great news! So then would you be able to lay down a "broadcast master" with accurate timecode (using "Edit to Tape" in FCP for instance) that you could send say to a dub house to get dubbed to HDCAM?

Wow. Not doubting Evan's report at all, but I sure would like to hear from a few more folks that this is indeed do-able. If so, then it's definitely great news!
