Can we expect improved compact HDV cameras?
I really like the form-factor of the Sony HC1 and A1, and the Canon HV20 has been very popular.
But now all the effort in this size range seems to be in AVCHD cameras. Will we ever see nice improved HDV-format A2 or HV30? I really hope so! Last edited by Graham Hickling; December 6th, 2007 at 09:53 PM. |

AVCHD vs. HDV
What is the advantage of AVCHD over HDV? I think I read somewhere that AVCHD is more compressed than HDV. Any concern about increased motion artifacts?

Hmmm ... a new HDV model here (but not small)
Well I got half my wish - a more advanced HDV camera on its way. But not the form factor I'm hanging around for.
